Senior Sourcing Specialist

We are now looking for a Sr. Sourcing Specialist who will be responsible for creating and supporting programs dedicated to the efficient and cost effective purchasing of services and products related to the functioning of Nike’s business activities.

Key Job Accountabilities
• Assist Procurement Manager in developing commodity strategies. Strategies include supporting processes, procedures, performance metrics, technology and organizational elements at the geography level.
• Deploy commodity strategies using the 7-Step Strategic Sourcing Process which includes: stage gates, spend analysis, requirements planning, risk management, market analysis, strategy development, competitive bidding (RFx), supplier negotiations, supplier selection, contracting, supplier management, cost savings methodology, performance reporting, and proficiency with sourcing tools.
• Work with business stakeholders to build consensus and alignment for sourcing projects.
• Identify key stakeholders and collaborates, advises and influences (where appropriate) across Nike. Inc.
• Utilize procurement operational excellence within commodity which includes preferred purchasing/transaction methods, payment methodology and working capital principles.
• Plan/ develop and execute geography/country specific annual plan.
• Ensure alignment with regional and global commodity strategies / plans
• Be responsible for the timely execution of strategic sourcing projects and achievement of strategic sourcing targets and reporting

To be successful in this role you will need to have:
• Strong background/subject matter expertise in Indirect Procurement.
• Background in Retail industry & IT services is a prerequisite.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Outstanding stakeholders management experience.
• 8 years of related experience.
• Proven capabilities in strategy development & international complex sourcing in international procurement organization.
• University Degree in a business related subject or CPM designation or a related certification is strongly preferred
